Ashra 1

First Ashra: Mercy (Rahmah)

اَللّٰهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

Transliteration

Allahummarhamna bi-rahmatika ya arhamar-rahimin.

Meaning

"O Allah, have mercy on us with Your mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy".

Ashra 2

Second Ashra: Forgiveness (Maghfirah)

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ ذُنُوْبِيْ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

Transliteration

Allahummagh-fir li zunubi ya Rabbal 'Alameen

Meaning

"O Allah, forgive me my sins, O Lord of the Worlds"

Ashra 3

Third Ashra: Protection (Najat)

اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنَ النَّارِ

Transliteration

Allahumma Ajirni minan-naar

Meaning

O Allah, save me from the Fire.

Laylatul Qadr

Special Dua for Laylatul Qadr

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

Transliteration

Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni.

Meaning

"O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive, so forgive me".
